We assume that using ECO you can save an average of 10% of total emissions per message, by eliminating the need for servers as intermediaries, which consume large amounts of electricity and therefore emit carbon dioxide.

If just 1% of all messenger users worldwide participated, we could collectively save up to 51,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year — equivalent to the annual absorption of 2.5 million trees.
